Pink Saturday---Spring Frocks

Every spring we witness the earth's metamorphosis, as the gray, colorless days of winter give way to clear blue skies and colorful these vivid pink dogwood blossoms from my front yard.

I'm eager to shed my dark winter clothing for light spring colors, as well.

Here are two pretty old pink gowns from my collection. The first gown has fabric flowers with rhinestone centers, outlining the waist and strapless bodice.

The second pink gown, has a beautiful watercolored floral motif on the bodice and skirt.....and a lavender sash.

I love pairing pink with this needlepoint pillow, with the pink cabbage rose, on my red sofa.

And here is a little rabbit pin, from the 50's, that I found at an antique store.

Thank you, to Beverly at How Sweet The Sound for hosting Pink Saturday. Visit her at for a list of other pink posts.

Happy Easter,

I have never seen such vivid pink blooms on a dogwood. Exquisite!

I can see we love many of the same things. I love the pillow on your sofa. My living room sofa is raspberry.

Hi Kay,

Dogwood blossoms are so lovely.

Congratulations on your purchases of Red transfer. My favorite is "Bristol".

Kay, I know you've been to many wonderful places such as China and England and love gardens...have you ever visited the Charleston House and gardens? It's south of London and was the residence of artist Vanessa Bell whose sister was the famous writer Virginia Woolf. Perhaps you've heard of the Bloomsbury Group...

Just curious if you walked along the garden paths and toured the house. Would love to create gardens similar to Charleston. Of course, would really love to visit in person!

Btw, thank you so much for the lovely comment you left on my blog. Very much appreciative.

Have a great week.

All the best,
