Summer Is Slipping Away

Have you noticed?

Summer is rapidly slipping away.

The kids are back in school.

Labor Day has come and gone.

The NFL preseason ended last week....

and Halloween stuff is for sale everywhere!

WHOA....NOT SO FAST

I'm not ready to give up my sandals and bare feet,

not to mention

lounging around the garden with iced tea and magazine

in hand.

WAIT A MINUTE !

This is the south....we don't see frost until the end of October!

I'm kicking off my shoes.

Would someone bring me a glass of iced tea

and

hand me my magazine.
